Jade has always been a bit of an… odd not-cat. For example, compared to the other not-cats around him, his fur has always been lighter, with grey streaks running through it. The other not-cats tended to have colourful fur, but he always felt a little, well, plain. As a young bean however, he was determined become as colourful as the rest, and so began bedazzling himself with beads and other small trinkets gifted to him by birds for helping them. One such trinket was a Blue Advertisement that seemed to come from Earth, which he now carries around proudly, despite being unable to read what it says. Despite his pride in his appearance, Jade is a kind cat, who has made many close friends, including Silk, another not-cat in Flickertown. Jade spends his days wandering the markets, looking for new items to add to his growing collection of Things and Clothes.
