“The bugs are nothing to be afraid of."
Holly has always been a peculiar not-cat. She seemed to just appear one day- well, no.. Walnut invited her to the village to be the resident entomologist. Despite being such an integral part of the village, xe’s remained quite aloof. Yet, when she returns from her hunts, it seems she always has a little something for the cats that look a bit down. And, while she rarely speaks to anyone unless needed, xe can be seen consoling others or giving advice to travelers. Although she may not exactly be a Watcher, when the alarm is rung, xe’s always one of the first ones on the scene.
She’s particularly protective of Noelle, and the two have a sister-like relationship. The two share a mutual love for festivals- a well kept secret between the two- but it goes further than that. Noelle didn’t exactly have the greatest upbringing in Gardenhome, and Holly remains protective of her as a result. Even when the glittersilk ribbons are up two weeks early for the Candlelight Festival, nobody utters a word under xyr perceptive ears.
Nobody ever gets close enough, but it’s a sight to see Holly on the job. Dashing through the forest, glittersilk trailing behind, pouncing on unsuspecting crickets and such. One would think her rather flashy attire would be distracting, but she makes it work, stepping through the forest floor without a sound. If you’re there at the right time, and the right place, you may see a wondrous flash of red and black.
