Grace would love to be a social butterfly, especially in a village as full of interesting not-cats as Solstice… but she just can’t seem to hold a conversation without embarrassing herself, somehow! It’s not as bad as she fears (in fact, most of the not-cats in Solstice seem to find it endearing) but her adventures to sate her curiosity and meet new not-cats always end in paws-covering-her-face or a tail curled protectively around herself. Some even swear that the fur on her face turns pink as a rose sometimes, mimicking those tall creatures she used to share Earth with.
Her demeanor can be a little deceptive - some not-cats have accidentally startled her trying to say hello, and ended up with a firm string of metal beads to the face from the forge, her blacksmithing skilled and her strength and agility skilled to match. She keeps a ribbon with a gold sun charm beneath her heavy scarf, always trying to keep the light close to her chest. For good luck, perhaps? Or maybe just so that the next time she strikes up a conversation, she doesn’t trip over her own feet.
