✧Rika has always been an inquisitive soul. Enamored by the strange world she lived in, she set her life goal to understanding the magic that seemed to permeate the air. Though she has a family who she loves dearly, her academic goals have always been. . . slightly. More important in her eyes. ✧

Rika is one of the brightest minds Raven's Hollow ever produced, but also one of the most excitable cats you'll meet. She has just as much energy as her husband Mango. Even as adults, the pair can be found organizing games and chasing eachother around the village in their spare time! Rika is also incredibly prone to tunnel visioning her current project. She's very passionate -which leads to many not cats getting an earful when they ask her about what she's working on- and absolutely loves her work!

✧ELOQUENCE'S EXHAUSTIVE ENCYCLOPEDIA (VOL. 1)✧

The main project Eloquence has thrown herself into after arriving. While Brightstone has a library, and a few scribes and volunteers dedicated to upkeeping it, the volumes contained within are mainly fiction. Eloquence's goal is to keep a record of the flora, fauna, and history surrounding Brightstone as a reference point for future residents.

✧A KITTENHOOD STORYBOOK✧

"Storybook" Is a little of an exaggeration, it is a non-fiction title suited for both adult and young not-cats. Written by the Mayor-at-the-time of her native Ruinhearth, Argos, Eloquence has read through it more times than she can count. If she ever has kittens of her own one day, it'll likely be a frequent bedtime story to them too.

✧THIRTEEN'S HERBAL SWIRL COOKIES✧

Eloquence's favorite snack from Castle Rock's attendant. Rather than sweet, these baked goods are perfectly savory, and a wonderful side to most village luncheons! She normally requests a plate to be prepared for her when she's about to work on her encyclopedias.

Eloquence detests violence. Though Brightstone's adventuring crew never kills the enemies they come across, she refuses to join the adventuring rotation. Instead, Eloquence archives their experiences in the Echoing Library for the benefit of future residents of Brightstone.

✧STORY✧

Eloquence had a nice enough kittenhood. Her every need was taken care of, and her fathers loved her fiercely. It was with a quiet, accepting heartbreak that they sent her away to Brightstone. She needed her own space to raise her family, and it wasn't as if they were forbidden from visiting. The day she turned old enough to travel, her family packed her bags, and alongside a new maidservant they had recruited from the village of Saint's Land, sent her off to begin life in her new home. . .

✧i. THE ARRIVAL✧

Eloquence arrived in Brightstone to moderate fanfare. A celebration was held to welcome her that evening (which she politely excused herself from under the excuse of being tired.), before Eloquence went to retire at her new abode. Castle Rock, perched high above the rest of the village, was dark and quiet and shockingly welcome. Especially after Thirteen retired to the servant's quarters. She spent her first few days wandering the castle and the grounds around it, only leaving to join the rest of the village for luncheon and to accompany Hildale on outings meant to teach her the layout of the village. Afterwards, Eloquence became content to travel between Castle Rock and the Echoing Library, hoping to make Brightstone feel a little more like home before she is wed.

Eloquence's story is far from over, but she is young, and still learning the village. It will be recorded in time.

✧The Not-Cat Eloquence was betrothed to from youth. Hildale is by no means cruel to her. In fact, they have been nothing but kind and patient with Eloquence since she arrived.
That doesn't mean they don't have their differences. Hildale is more outgoing and energetic than she is, spending much of her time socializing with the village residents or out on hunting trips. Their major shared bond at the moment is the collection of books and oddities that Hildale curates in their home. Eloquence likes studying them, and though she doesn't tell Hildale, when they are gone on a longer hunting trip Eloquence will upkeep the collection in their absence. ✧



✧THIRTEEN✧
✧FRIEND / MAIDSERVANT✧

✧Thirteen was a final parting gift from her fathers to Eloquence, meant to both care for her in her new home, and to become something of a companion to her in a village of strangers. Thirteen has filled both roles diligently, more than happy to be of service after having to leave her last village. When she isn't cleaning or preparing meals for the residents of Castle Rock, she is keeping Eloquence company. The two have travelled to Gardenhome to see the museums and Gardenhome Theatre many times. As Eloquence has learned, her first friend outside of Ruinhearth is quite the art conniseur! ✧

✧FRIENDLY AQUAINTANCE✧

✧The current head scribe of the Echoing Library, Blue serves as Eloquence's writing buddy and editor. Xe are a compassionate soul she can always turn to with her struggles. Blue will sometimes stay at Castle Rock when Hildale is away hunting to keep Eloquence company. The two use the time to work on the Exhaustive Encyclopedias. ✧



✧CARMILLA✧
✧FRIENDLY AQUAINTANCE✧

✧Eloquence and Carmilla met when the latter was shadowing her parent for the day. Carmilla has been a frequent visitor to Castle Rock ever since, asking to peruse Eloquence's books and simply spend time with her. Eloquence gets the feeling the kitten is just happy to be around someone who looks like her, but she humors Carmilla all the same (much to the approval of the rather grumpy Babycakes) ✧
