A very silly not-cat with an appreciation for a good pair of pants. The fact that not-cats generally do not wear pants is of no concern to them.
Jeans+ is often lost in thought daydreaming about the many different kinds of amazing pants they have encountered over the years (jeans, sweatpants, yoga pants, leggings, etc.). Because their mind is occupied by these very important musings, they sometimes end up walking off somewhere without looking where they are going. They later turn up in the strangest of places.
They are deaf, but since most not-cats know NSL (not-cat sign language), this doesn't cause them much trouble. It sometimes causes other not-cats trouble, because if you tell Jeans something they don't want to know about, they will simply close their eyes.
Jeans+ received their name from humans back on Earth. They are very proud of it, but they have yet to explain what exactly it means. It is possible the humans simply noticed Jeans' passion for legwear, and the fact that they are truly quite fat.

Jeans+ migrated from Earth alone. When they arrived, they were butt-naked, and in order to rectify this grievous oversight, they immediately set out on a quest to acquire the comfiest, stylish-est, handsome-est pants on all of Not-Earth.
Judging by the sheer determination with which they started their quest, it is possible they had been wanting to wear pants for quite some time. Perhaps they lived in close quarters with humans before, where wearing clothes would have given away their true nature as a not-cat?
After searching high and low in all manner of places, with no pants to show for their efforts, Jeans+ knew they had to rethink their strategy. For a while, they went to live in Little Respite, taking a little break from their search in order to regroup and strategize.
One day, while visiting the artisans' market with some of their neighbors from Little Respite, Jeans+ suddenly laid eyes on a little stall that was utterly out of this world. Pants! Jeans, even! Hung on racks, laid out in piles - they were the only items available at the tiny stall - the most luxurious pants Jeans+ had ever seen!
They stayed there trying on all the different pants until it was quite late and most of the surrounding stalls had already packed up and gone home. The not-cat behind the counter begged them to "please just pick a pair, they were all the exact same!!", but Jeans+ would not be rushed. This was a momentous occasion! Their friends from Little Respite had fallen asleep on top of the stall's roof while waiting for them to finish up.
Finally, they settled on the comfiest, fanciest, perfect-est pair of pants of them all, and in that moment, Jeans+'s soul knew true happiness.
Jeans+ spent the year's Leaf Day celebrations in Little Respite, and afterwards, they left to go on tour, off to show the world the most amazing pants that had ever existed. Though they are a busy not-cat with many important places to go and not-cats to meet, they still make sure to write home to their friends in Little Respite, without whom they never would have achieved their dreams.

- Recruited from the board in summer, year 9, because despite their wonderfully funny name and face, they were advertised as a 'future city victim', and I could not let that happen!
- The "+" in their name was likely just used as a marker by their previous owner, but "Jeans+" was just too funny of a name to change.
