Grayfox has decided that Acorn is the wonderfullest most specialest not-cat in the world who has never done anything wrong, and has taken to rigorously defending them, no matter how much trouble they cause. Acorn likes this.
Grayfox quickly imprinted on Acorn once he got adopted, seeing as they were both new to the Twinkling Clearing and almost the same age. Grayfox finds magic interesting as well, but mostly it seems like he finds Acorn interesting. He has not really paid any mind to the fact that his sense of magic is quite strong as well. In general, it seems like Grayfox just thinks Acorn is great fun all around.

Grayfox and Acorn tend to travel with Grayfox's younger siblings, the littermates Gyin and Ardis. However, they constantly end up in quarrels that cause the group to split up, only to reform again when they encounter each other again. While Grayfox loves his little siblings, he is eternally devoted to Acorn and will not take any constructive criticism regarding them, whereas Gyin is Ardis' bodyguard and will always go wherever he goes. Grayfox always tries to keep the group together, but with his lack of willingless to compromise, and his young siblings' unwillingness to listen to reason even at all, the relationship is a little strained between them. Despite this, Grayfox always allows them to rejoin the group without following up any previous conflicts; he can't help but worry about them whenever they're out on their own.
