Though she is very strong and physically capable, she hates anything scary - violence most of all - and refuses to use her strength to hurt anything or anyone. She's a lover, she says, not a fighter!
Instead, she works as an assistant to Pumpkin, a disabled not-cat who needs help with chores around the home, as well as keeping aer affairs in order. Rosemary thrives putting her skills to use in a way that directly helps someone else. When Pumpkin smiles, Rosemary knows with certainty that this is the life she's always wanted.
In her off hours, she can be found at the smithy. She enjoys working with iron, and she is trying to learn how to craft custom jewelry.

Rosemary used to work as a guard in her old colony back on Earth. Although she dreaded every shift, she had no choice but to remain at her post, because her old home was crawling with rats, feral dogs and other hungry beasts, and the weaker not-cats around her depended on her to keep them safe. Upon leaving her old life behind and migrating to Not-Earth, Rosemary promised herself she would never harm another living being.
In Little Respite, Rosemary was very excited to learn that the village was looking for someone to work as a domestic aid, and she took on the job without hesitation. Her and Pumpkin hit it off immediately, and quickly formed a close bond. Some say the relationship between Pumpkin and Rosemary reminds them a bit of a princess and aer lady-in-waiting.
Later on, Rosemary would become the ringleader of a group of not-cats all plotting to make friends with Beth, a deeply shy and sensitive not-cat from the neighboring village, the Twinkling Clearing. Beth was coming to Little Respite in the hopes of learning to open up a bit and socialize. The two quickly became friends, and it was clear for all to see that Rosemary was growing very fond of Beth.
However, while most found their budding friendship endearing, Rosemary's coworker, Bayleaf, was overcome with jealousy. She had secretly been pining for Rosemary for a very long time, too shy to make a move, and now she feared she may be too late. Realizing it was now or never, Bayleaf pushed herself to finally confess her feelings.
Rosemary was shocked, but delighted! Though she had never realized it before herself, she knew right away that she reciprocated Bayleaf's feelings. The two started a loving - if very silly - relationship, and became very happy together.
... And Pumpkin breathed a sigh of relief. Apparently ae had long ago realized what was going on with Bayleaf and was secretly rooting for her to work up the courage to make a move. All is well that ends well!
