But right as xe was about to meet with xyr new connection, a certain menace to the artisan's market showed up with an agenda.
No one in Little Respite knows exactly what happened between Wraith and Jewel that day. Whatever the incident entailed, Wraith refuses to talk about it. All anyone knows is that a few days after Jewel showed up in Little Respite, Wraith appeared as well - constantly trailing after Jewel with a little knife clutched between xyr teeth. This is probably fine, normal and not at all cause for concern.

- Jewel: Wraith's rival. Wraith resents Jewel with the fury of a thousand suns. Jewel barely remembers why and generally has a neutral-to-positive opinion of Wraith. Really, if it wasn't for xyr insistence on creating only the most garish and insincere of art, he might actually think xe was kind of cute ...
- Pumpkin: Another rival. Because Wraith has a bone to pick with Jewel and Pumpkin is close with Jewel, Wraith dislikes Pumpkin by association. Pumpkin suspects Wraith may actually be jealous of all the attention ae gets from Jewel. Ae plays along with the rivalry because it's fun to tease Wraith a bit, but ae secretly hopes Jewel and Wraith will get over their rivalry someday and get together.
