The sheer force of her excitement is infectious to those around her, and new not-cats join her little expeditions all the time to see what all the fuss is about.
When she isn't out discovering the real world, she loves to play storytelling games. Though she's not great at coming up with stories herself, she loves to participate in games made up by other not-cats. Because she engages closely with the game master's vision and gets really passionate about playing, her presence tends to make the game lots more fun!

- Smudge: Nacre's littermate, whom she drags around with her everywhere, despite aer general lack of participating in whatever she's doing beyond just kind of hanging around. Since Smudge is such a closed book, even Nacre has no idea what's going on in aer head most of the time, but this doesn't bother her much, as she's pretty sure the fact that Smudge willingly goes with her means ae probably loves her very, very much. The few times Smudge has commented on aer feelings regarding Nacre, ae tends to describe her as something along the lines of "annoying", but Nacre doesn't take it personally. Surely ae's just joking!
- Tigerlily: Nacre's half-nibling through Lily, who's a little older than her and serves as a sibling figure in her life. Tigerlily has mixed feelings on both Nacre and Smudge, and struggles not to get jealous of their place in Lily's life. They really strain not to be mean to the kittens, however, as they don't want to jeopardize their place in the family. Nacre doesn't really understand what's going on with Tigerlily, but she's quite sure she can fix it by just being super kind to them and including them in whatever her and Smudge are doing as often as possible. Tigerlily finds the attention kind of overwhelming ...
- Tea, Stream, Spark and Lily: Nacre and Smudge's parents. They all find her to be an absolute delight and are very affectionate with her. With so many parents around, there's always at least one or two who have time to play with her and come with her on her adventures! Tea and Stream in particular also often join her for her storytelling games. Spark and Lily are too shy to really be able to get into those, so they provide snacks instead.
- Specter and Marble: Nacre and Smudge's older siblings, who have been out traveling the world since before they could really remember. They frequently get letters from them, however, and they send lots of gifts home to their baby siblings. Nacre thinks they are way cool and can't wait until they return to Little Respite permanently so she can get to know them in person.

- Grew from a bean to a young kitten just two days after her older nibling, Tigerlily, arrived in Little Respite and joined the family, creating a sibling-like dynamic between the two.
