Labrador, a kindly but inactive cat and one of Cobbled Arch's founders, is a soulful sort who's kind to everyone. They're rarely moved to swift action except when in danger, and resent that they're good enough at adventuring for Skyfish to drag them along- and yet, they almost don't mind such escapades, because it means they're around to help protect their friends.

Labrador's calm demeanor also makes them good with animals; they've attracted a bird-friend, River (blue fantail pigeon, it pronouns). It's a bit skittish around not-cats that aren't Labrador, but it enjoys sitting on top of them as they sleep. Labrador gives it plenty of seeds, and though they're too attached to it to even consider the possibility of training River as a messenger pigeon, the other local birds like Labrador well enough as long as they feed them. Sure enough, Labrador is now followed around by a small flock of trained fantail pigeons.

MAJOR RELATIONSHIPS: 
Arwen ✦ best friend, teammate ✦
Arwen and Labrador are two rather laid-back not-cats with similar interests. They share the same spaces and tend to talk about the same things, and they can help each other relax or get passionate about something just by persuading the other. Also, Labrador gives Arwen crossbow lessons- it's mostly just a reason to spend more time together, but also, crossbows are wicked cool.
The two of them have grown to share just about everything- shiny objects, gossip and bonding rituals, for instance. They bicker often, but each agree to respect each other's opinions even if they seem completely nonsensical, and it rarely gets too serious.
Rain ✦ best friend ✦
Rain and Labrador have similar vibes, and no one was surprised when they started growing closer. They're very chatty with each other, often carrying conversations at luncheons or gossiping as they help each other with personal grooming. Rain isn't especially amazing with animals, but she's pretty good; she and Labrador often feed the pigeons together, and she provides the slightly firmer touch needed to attempt to train wild birds. River, Labrador's pet fantail pigeon, has decided on Rain as its second favorite not-cat, so that's another point in her favor.
MINOR RELATIONSHIPS: 
Top Dollar ✦ friend, teammate ✦ Top Dollar and Labrador have little in common, but the former's brazenness and the latter's low energy levels and kindness mesh surprisingly well. They respect each other's limits even as they push one another out of their comfort zones. They get along well with him- Labrador does enjoy physical activity from time to time, and Top Dollar a lack of it, and despite/because of their being polar opposites in energy level, they're especially capable at convincing each other to step out of their comfort zones.
Skyfish ✦ teammate ✦ Skyfish and Labrador share the backlines in battle, and tend to nap on the same warmest rock, but their connection isn't that deep.
Klein ✦ teammate ✦ Klein struggles to keep up with xyr more skilled peers, but Labrador regards xem with a patience xe's very grateful for. The two of them converse at luncheons and while on adventures with one another, and while they don't have much of a connection they do enjoy each other's company.
