Silverfish is a bright, cheerful, and positive not-cat, who dreams of the impossible and is empowered by love. She’s an excellent fighter, but she could never bring herself to hurt a fellow not-cat. She strives for change and wants everyone to have a better tomorrow- no matter how hard that may be. She’s incredibly brave and courageous, willing to stand up to even the scariest or most powerful of not-cats. Because of how positive and hopeful she is, she’s seen as naïve and unintelligent because of how ambitious her hopes are. She wishes for far too much- she can’t change the world by herself. She knows that- but she doesn’t want to believe it.

Silverfish is vocal about her disagreements with Oakworm’s cruel and strict methods of ruling. Despite this, Oakworm hasn’t kicked her out of the village- she was too popular among the villagers, and her strength and knowledge in battle was a useful asset for the town. Rumour has it that she’s leading a rebellion against Oakworm, with the help of Silkworm, though those are only rumours. Most don’t believe it. After all, who would dare stand up against the leader of Bugsville itself?

Etymology - The silverfish is a species of small, primitive, wingless insect in the order Zygentoma. Its common name derives from the insect's silvery light grey colour, combined with the fish-like appearance of its movements.
