The cats of Longtail Beach enjoy visiting the library and settling down to read for a while with a nice cup of tea. The village Apothecary currently works out of the library to help facilitate this. She isn't totally sure how she ended up running what is essentially a reading café, but hey, not all the teas she brews have to have mystical effects.

The Scribes here aren't too concerned about the café taking over a little of the shelving space - it's a great spot for their caffeine fix - but there have been talks about the local Artists maybe moving out to a studio or something. There can only be so many paint-on-books incidents before things get... messy.

Which is exactly the problem the Scribes want to avoid.

Town ordinance has suggested that if there are any breakthroughs regarding the fascinating runestones in this area, the spot next to the Library would be the perfect place to put it. Longtail Beach's Mason and Builders have drawn up some plans for something tall, maybe. Possibly somewhere that potions could be concocted?

Whatever happens, the Apothecary is looking forwards to a future rivalry with the village Potionmaker, whoever that ends up being.
